Templeton Rye 6 Year Old Signature Reserve
Templeton Rye in based in Iowa's town of Templeton, with a population of just 350 people! This is its Signature Reserve rye whiskey, made with a mash bill of 95% rye and 5% malted barley. Housed in American oak for six years, it was eventually bottled at 45.8% ABV, packed full of peppery rye spices and florals. We're already thinking about a Rye Old Fashioned!

Nose
Tinned peach, liquorice and honeysuckle alongside root ginger heat.
Palate
Silky honey tempers earthy rye spice and menthol notes, with toffee and toasted oak in tow.
Finish
Butterscotch and dark chocolate linger on a peppery finish.
