Feast your eyes on the Renaissance Series 2 from Teeling! Launched to celebrate the ongoing renaissance of Irish whiskey, the first expression in the range was finished in ex-Madeira casks - this time, the fantastic 18 year old Irish single malt has been finished in ex-Australian Shiraz casks after maturing in ex-bourbon barrels. This has imparted a generous scoop of ripe fruit notes, along with a dusting of vibrant spices. A release of 9,000 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Sun-dried raisins, cherry Bakewells, cinnamon sticks and rounded malt.

Palate More juicy cherry notes, supported by strawberries and cream, black pepper, buttery vanilla and sponge cake.

Finish Red fruit lasts, balanced by a touch of toasted cedar.
