Wine Cask
Distilled in February 2012, this Teaninich single malt was first rested in a refill hogshead, before being moved over to a barrique which previously held wine from Giraud Rivesaltes! It was bottled by Hannah Whisky Merchants just three days after its ninth birthday in February 2021. An outturn of 306 bottles were released for the Lady of the Glen series at cask strength, a generous 56.7% ABV. Lots of rich chocolate and spices to enjoy here!
Floral oak, woody spices, and melted milk chocolate.
Oily malt, chocolate-coated ginger, and buttery biscuits.
A hit of spices lingers alongside toasty mocha notes.
Very disappointing , needs a lot of water .
