Description
13-year-old single malt from Teaninich, distilled in 2009 and treated to a finish in a selection of Bolgheri wine casks before bottling in 2023. Bottled without added colour or chill filtration, it makes a splendid addition to Signatory's independent Un-Chilfiltered Collection.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Sweet, jammy notes of strawberries and summer fruits open the way, with zesty citrus and gristy malt in tow.
Palate
Red fruit compote, jam tarts, vanilla caramel, and creamy milk chocolate are backed by rich toasted oak.
Finish
Mocha, oaken vanilla, a touch of pepper, and lingering berry sweetness.
