Is it the finest example of the distiller's craft? Probably not. Is it a good, drinkable, affordable whiskey? Yes, definitely!
Just ripened banana and sweet malt, the oak brings in a hint of cream pie scent. Flavor of the peat hits upfront strong then quickly dissipates into fruity, malty sweetness. Soft and creamy mouthful, easy to drink.
