A fab indie bottling of Tamnavulin single malt, released as part of the Connoisseurs Choice series by Gordon & MacPhail. Distilled in 2007, this expression spent its time in a single refill bourbon barrel – 14 whole years of time. The cask was then opened in November 2021, releasing a total outturn of 214 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Buttery malt, sweet dried fruit with a whiff of ginger, and floral grist.

Palate: More floral notes with hints of grapes and green apple leading to heavier, stewed fruits and spiced honey.

Finish: Drying malt with plenty of spice, toffee popcorn, underlying notes of green herbs and pepper.
