Have you ever had a whisky aged in casks that had their char layers polished away by rocks and water? Intriguing stuff, presented at 58.7% ABV.

Very full nose and palate, very warming but smooth plenty of finish.
Sparkle on the nose and palate. Depth. Enjoyable. Had a free sample from MoM - seriously thinking about a bottle, though it’s at the (far) end of my single bottle budget.
