Talisker 24 Year Old 1953 - Connoisseur's Choice (Gordon & MacPhail)
This is a very rare bottle of Talisker single malt that was distilled in 1953, matured in sherry oak casks and bottled 24 years later by Gordon & MacPhail for the Italian market as part of the Connoisseur's Choice range. Interesting note here for grammar nerds - modern Connoisseurs Choice bottlings don't have an apostrophe, while this one does. And if you're not entertained by grammar oddities, simply be amazed by this bloomin' old bottle of rare whisky!
