Strathmill 32 Year Old 1990 (cask 19898) - Old Malt Cask (Hunter Laing)

A very limited outturn of 29 bottles exist of this very old Strathmill single malt. Distilled in 1990, it matured for 32 years in a refill hogshead. Single malts from this Speyside distillery are rare, but independent bottler Hunter Laing got its hands on this one, which was bottled in 2022 as part of its The Old Malt Cask series. A low cask strength of 44.1% ABV for this one.

Tasting Note by The Producer

Nose

Floral with honeysuckle and orange blossom, vanilla, and lemon.

Palate

Grapefruit, herbal tea, and more delicate lemon notes.

Finish

Long and gentle with lingering honey and citrus.
