Description
Single malt from the Strathmill Distillery, bottled up by Signatory for the long-running Cask Strength Collection. This whisky was distilled back in July 1996 and matured in a pair of hogsheads, until said hogshead were cracked open in May 2020. A release of 458 bottles, presented at 57.4% ABV.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Zesty orange, old oak and hints of custard cream biscuits.
Palate
Toasted brioche, cinder toffee, fresh linen, melted butter.
Finish
A touch of red berry sweetness sticks around for minutes afterwards.
