Sherry

A particularly well-sherried Strathmill here! This one was distilled back in October 2006, and was initially matured in refill butt casks. It was eventually moved over to a fresh sherry butt for 11 months, before being bottled by Signatory for the Cask Strength Collection independent bottling range. 689 bottles were produced.
Strong coffee, thick caramel, treacle tart, a hint of gristy barley.
Walnuts, polished oak, chocolate mousse, clove, strawberry jam sandwiches and caramel.
Drying cocoa and cinnamon on freshly made doughnuts.
