This is a superb Strathmill single malt Scotch whisky, which was matured for a dozen years before being bottled up at 47.8% ABV. It was released as part of the Forgotten gems range, which is all about getting the final drops of ace whiskies out to whisky fans who will savour the spectacular spirits. Just two bottles of this expression were produced.
Wonderfully malty, with drizzled of caramel and chocolate sauce.
Apricot and peach sweetness arrive, joined by more vanilla and a touch of liquorice root.
Very subtly savoury with thyme and cedar.
