Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

The nose is rich and full. There are notes of sweet vanilla fudge with caramelised fruits and charred toasty oak with spice and gentle, cold wood smoke. Notes of toffee and dried fruits. The palate is quite full-bodied with exceptional balance. There are notes of smoked meats and wood smoke, winter fruitcake with spice and sherried walnuts and sultanas. There are hints of beeswax and apple blossom with dry oak. The finish is long and smoky with chewy toffee and oak.

This was a gift from my son, who got two bottles for his 40 tieth birthday.
still nursing it along, maybe 3 drinks left.
