Description
From the Whisky Illuminati's Alba Series comes another fantastic single grain - this time produced at the Strathclyde Distillery. It was matured in a single American oak barrel from 1993 to 2019, then bottled at cask strength with an outturn of 202 bottles. Creamy and fruity, with a hint of earthy spice to it.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Walnut, vanilla, orange peel and milky coffee.
Palate
Richly honeyed, with layers of nougat, white chocolate and cassia.
Finish
A soft hint of apricot and red apple sticks around. Final floral flourishes of violet.
