The great folks at GreatDrams got their hands on a really great batch of single grain for this release! Distilled at Strathclyde in November 2005, the whisky was allowed to mature for 15 years in ex-bourbon casks until it was time for bottling in April 2021, with a total of 500 bottles released. A glorious dram of grainy greatness, this one!

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Tropical wafts of pineapple with vanilla ice cream, waxy orange, and buttery oak.

Palate Tangerine, floral honey, candied citrus, bold vanilla, polished wood.

Finish Warming spice begins to prickle, a touch vegetal with sweet caramel to balance.

Another cracking limited release from GreatDrams
I've been fortunate to try a lot of the releases from GreatDrams and they never disappoint. Definitely worth a trying some of the releases. This one is a really nice change in flavour profile, compared to a lot of the normal releases you get. All the releases from GreatDrams are very limited, so get one before they sell out!
