Stauning KAOS Bottling Note

An intriguing release from Denmark's Stauning, dubbed KAOS! Made from a blend of three of its own whiskies, it showcases its bourbon-matured single malt, malted rye and peated single malt, the result is far from chaotic, full of chocolate, delicate smoke and dried fruit.

Stauning KAOS Reviews

You won't be disappointed

I'll be honest, I bought this because the bottle looked cool. But what a gorgeous little gem. There's a real fresh sweetness to this. The apples are huge. But there's also a decent richness to it as well. A 2nd bottle has been purchased!

A star is born. Simply magic, drams from this bottle.

Nose: Bread, yes bread. Its sinks into moist oak. Wow.

Palate: Mid to light mouthfeel. There is a two tier palate, light sponge cake that drags aged cinnamon along, not classic but raw shaving and then pivots back to chippings. All this without a hint of issues.

After: Peppered wood...but screw that, the palate doesn't stop delivering. Phenomenal.
