The Norfolk 9yo Rye Bottling Note

A single grain whisky aged for nine years in both virgin oak and ex-Bourbon cask from the folks at the English Whisky Company. Only a few casks were made due to the technical difficulty of distilling a high percentage (51.4% ABV) rye whisky, making it something of a rarity in the world of English whisky.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Lemon zest with a light herbal aroma of thyme.

Palate: Rich and oily with sweet and spicy notes of cocoa, orange zest and cinnamon.
