Unfortunately, we can't ship The English - Smokey Virgin Oak Cask (bottled 2022) to the United States at the moment, but we've got some friends who can.
It really says a lot about how far English whisky has come in such a short space of time that a smoky virgin cask whisky isn't an unexpected sight. In fact, The English Whisky Company is very good at making peaty drams, as evidenced by this beauty.
Nose: Peaches in cream, fresh citrus, smoky malt, and a little ginger.
Palate: Through grassy peat comes nutmeg, milk chocolate, and apples.
Finish: Floral, as well as a little smoky and sweet.
