The English 7yo Rolls Bottling Note

This seven year old single malt, single cask whisky from The English Whisky Company was drawn from casks chosen by the Rolls Royce & Bentley Enthusiasts Club. Over at St. George's Distillery in Norfolk, the whisky matured for a generous seven years between 2014 and 2021, with a brief finish in sherry casks, before being bottled up at a robust 57%, with an outturn of only 270 bottles. More affordable than a Rolls Royce, and certainly tastier, this fruity dram will do well with a few drops of water added.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Plenty of sherry character on the nose, with dried raisins and apricots alongside cocoa nibs.

Palate: Robust, with hints of oily lemon peel, sticky malt loaf, lashings of sherry sweetness, and spiced fruitcake.

Finish: The fruit cake lingers, with gentle spices building.
