Springbank ODD Cask #419
The ODD range from Springbank was launched as a response after a rival distiller described its decision to suspend production as "An odd decision from a very odd bunch of people" in a Daily Mail article back in 2008. The Campbeltown distillery ran a competition asking fans what ODD could stand for and the winner was "Original, Distinct, Defiant." The words appear on the label of this expression, Cask #419, which was matured in a red wine barrel.
