Springbank 20 Year Old (That Boutique-y Whisky Company)

Springbank 20yo TBWC Bottling Note

20 year old Springbank single malt, independently bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company. Springbank is one of a small number of distillers in the Campbeltown region, and they're incredibly well-loved for their top-notch whiskies. This one ought to be no exception. The label features Neil and Joel off of World's Best Spirits (previously off of Caskstrength.net) working Springbank's Porteus Mill, dutifully trying to get rid of any husks from the barley. Keep at it, you two!

Batch 12 is a release of 261 bottles.

‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Malty nose, red fruit with notes of varnish, tobacco, and spicy Jamaican ginger cake.

Palate: Creamy mouthfeel, thick, and then so nutty, walnuts, marzipan, and some ginger spice.

Finish: Long and nutty, amazing texture which goes on and on.

Overall: A meal in a glass, you could have this for breakfast instead of porridge.
