That Boutique-y Whisky Company has gone and got its hands on another brilliant single malt from Campbeltown's very own Springbank Distillery! Batch 22 is a richly flavoursome dram from Springbank, having matured for an impressive 20 years before being bottled up at 49.7% ABV.
Batch 22 is a release of 478 bottles.
‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Plump raisins and bold oak, with whispers of chocolate sauce. Slightly meaty.
Palate
Meaty notes return in the form of honeyed ham, while the dried fruit richness continues undeterred.
Finish
A long, subtly spicy finish.
