Longrow Red 10 Year Old - Refill Malbec Cask Finish
A 10-year-old expression of Springbank's peated Longrow single malt here. The Campbeltown whisky was initially matured in bourbon barrels for seven years, followed by a lengthy three-year finish in refill South African malbec wine barriques. Bottled at a cask strength of 52.5% ABV.

Nose
A subtle coastal hint lays underneath heaps of red fruit, with cherry and currants alongside old leather.
Palate
More red fruit, this time more tart, with plum skin and wafts of coastal peat smoke, and spiced orchard fruit.
Finish
Red grape and cherry jam lingers on a smouldering, smoky finish.
