“First time to try this one, however. On the nose was rum raisins right off, oak cask, leather, then the smoke. Oh, and almonds! The palate was nutty, a tad of dried fruit and then the peat. After a few drops of water, the rum raisin became more apparent. Long, smoky (subtle smoke! ) finish, and wood and fruit remain. Tasted something that oddly reminded me of bubblegum, but not in a bad way. The elements of fruit, smoke and oak are very well-balanced in this delectable dram. ”
