Reviews for Hazelburn 13 Year Old 2003 - Oloroso Cask
Surprisingly great
Managed to get hold of a bottle - absolutely no regrets. Smooth, complex, chocolatey... and a rather long finish. Fantastic value for money too. There has to be a reason why 12000 bottles of this is now sold out.

Disappointing
Disappointing, has an antiseptic quality, not unlike mouthwash. Taste younger than 13, and the finish is unpleasant, as if i wish it was shorter. I’m going to pour this out, and get something else

Great stuff! Only share with your best friends.
This is my first exposure to Hazelburn after several disappointments with Springbank and Longrow. I was really impressed with this one. My first dram was very complex even with a taste of light peat which Hazelburn shouldn't have. I loved the oily texture which is characteristic of Springbank and Glen Scotia malts. I liked it better than the heralded Springbank 15.
