Indie Springbank bottlings always cause a bit of excitement here at MoM Towers - because oftentimes they're bloomin' amazing! This one looks to be another perfect example. It's a 20 year old single malt from the Springbank distillery, aged in a single sherry cask from April 1997 to September 2017. 276 bottles were produced by The Maltman.
Meaty malt hiding underneath waves of fresh sticky oloroso. A touch of spent match.
Dry barley, dark chocolate, Frazzles, black liquorice and kumquat.
Roasted hazelnut, red grape and a lasting smokiness.
