Spot Whiskey celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2025 with a limited edition 10-year-old release of its Green Spot Single Pot Still Irish whiskey! The Spot range gets its name from the founder, Mitchell & Son's practice of painting different coloured spots on casks to mark different ages, with Green Spot first advertised in The Irish Times in 1925. Matured for 10 years in a selection of bourbon and sherry casks and bottled at a satisfying 46% ABV, this whiskey boasts generous layers of orchard fruits, warming spices, and sweet vanilla.
For this special edition, Spot partnered with craft paint company YesColours, creating a bespoke Green Spot shade of green, and the bottle features a bold green paint stroke across the front.
