Spirit Hound Barrel Project Bourbon
Master distiller Craig Engelhorn tasted countless bourbons before falling in love with this one, bottling it for Lyons Distillers' Spirit Hound series. The bourbon was brought to Colorado and treated to a finish in freshly emptied Spirit Hound American single malt barrels for balanced, mellow complexity. Never blended, each bottle is drawn from a single barrel.

Nose
Oaken vanilla, soft stone fruit, and waves of maple syrup.
Palate
Buttery corn, some red fruit notes, and gentle woody spice.
Finish
Hints of clove and pepper bring warmth to the finish.
