Speyside 18YO 1991

A beautiful, darkly hued whisky from "Probably Speyside's Finest Distillery". This was aged in a refill hogshead before finishing in a red wine cask. Delicious stuff from Douglas Laing.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Rich and aromatic with notes of berry fruits, raspberries, dark honey and chocolate malt.

Palate Sherried peels, thick dessert wine, old port and peppermint.

Finish Cherry liqueurs, chocolate and black pepper.
