A beautiful, darkly hued whisky from "Probably Speyside's Finest Distillery". This was aged in a refill hogshead before finishing in a red wine cask. Delicious stuff from Douglas Laing.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Rich and aromatic with notes of berry fruits, raspberries, dark honey and chocolate malt.

Palate: Sherried peels, thick dessert wine, old port and peppermint.

Finish: Cherry liqueurs, chocolate and black pepper.
