SPEY 12 Year Old Limited Release
An exciting, limited edition cask finished whisky from the Speyside Distillery! This is a limited release of SPEY 12 Year Old, with the single malt initially aged in bourbon casks, before it was then treated to a finish in Tawny Port casks. Just 3,000 bottles have been released, with heaps of red fruit influence from the cask to be enjoyed.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Hints of banana and custard followed by red flowers and raspberry jam, and a handful of orchard fruits.
Palate
Milk chocolate and toasted almond, with notes of red grape appearing.
Finish
Blackcurrant jam and tinned pear linger.
