Absolute dog piss.

It's Great!! Problem is it's hard for a Scot to find here in Texas?
21st December 2016
Have tasted much better - no wonder it's sold out. Probably won't be seen again
23rd September 2016
Absolutely gorgeous only problem cannot find any-one who sells it.
21st August 2016
Smells nice to the nose, but stops there, I find a bit harsh for a SM, some of the blends iv'e tried like JW Black are much better as a cheap whisky, won't buy again.
6th July 2016
Extremely satisfying across the board-recommend
24th May 2016
I've nearly finished the last bottle, and the present order is a replacement to that! Great Drinking!
23rd February 2016
One of the best fire-side whiskeys to get you through winter. Nice darkish and Amber colouring, good movement around the glass and a rich lingering taste on the palate, with a rare bouquet of mixed aroma's tintalating the nose. Not so strong as to need help getting up, but does give you a lovely glow after a few glasses. Well recommended!

This isn't what you'd describe as a subtle and delicate malt. It's a young, boisterous whisky which I imagine would make those with a more delicate palate reel back in horror upon tasting. It has a cacophony of a nose, and on the palate it's sharp and rough. The flavours are big and unsophisticated, stewed fruit, cigars, navy rum, hogsheads of caramel. I approached this dram expecting the very worst, and I must say I've been very pleasantly surprised - it has a lot of character. Despite its excesses, it's a fun ride.

Would love to purchase but no luck!! Help!!
18th November 2015
It's no top shelf but has a very good aroma and taste for a $20 bottle of single malt!!!!
8th November 2015
I never judge scotch by price but I loved this one. Smooth with no bit
2nd November 2015
love it! smooth as silk and delicious
30th September 2015
A touch of water or ice and it's quite. Smooth and mellow, with a light earthy slightly smoky finish. It's no Dalmore or Glenfarclas 15yo but it's okay.
2nd June 2015
didn't recognize the brand so I gave it a shot at $20 USD...I have had maybe 20-25 different Scotches and Irish Whiskey in the past few years...definitely at the bottom of my list...you live and learn but for $20 you can't complain...though I have finally found what I would call "cheap Scotch" but easier to drink than say a Dewars or Johnny Walker
15th April 2015
Very disappointed after high expectations
14th April 2015
My friend and I have been drinking Drumguish for years now. Dollar for dollar, with the absence of any of the peat or smoky flavor of more traditional Scotches, I find Drumguish to be very satisfying.
20th February 2015
Got a bottle for 17.00 on sale. Vice nice whiskey for the price.
8th January 2015
For the price, it's not horrible. My bottle was a gift; you can't beat free! I thought it was rather smooth, which surprised me. The nose is a bit muddled, though slightly pleasant. I'd be interested to try the later releases from The Speyside distillery.

A friend gave me a bottle and i love it
2nd August 2014
My wife and I cracked our first of 6 bottles of this malt last night. OMG and Yuk, it was harsh, difficult to drink, flavourless, worst I have ever sampled. Whoever said that there was no such thing as a bad whisky has obviously not tried Drumguish. It has been consigned to mixer use and maybe pressies for someone I do not like!
27th June 2014
I also like some of the TN spirits but Scotch is my favorite. Went by the local Liquor store to pick up a bottle today & saw the Drumguish single malt. Bought a bottle & abolutely LOVE IT! I cannot understand some of the negative comments that have been made. For the $$ it is an excellent buy!
25th February 2014
I originally wrote a rather chastising review of this one, but it's not as bad as first impressions. On opening the bottle and pouring my first dram (after finishing a Ledaig entry which has the most curious nose I've come across this far) I got precisely nothing on the nose. Not a jot. The palate seemed thin (a touch too much water perhaps?) and the finish was none existent. So I continued to mess about making my homemade whisky cured salmon and forgot about it for 5 minutes or so had another disappointing mouthful and started to write my review. And so I return, a while later it's better, there's definite walnut there, perhaps a slight fudginess. It's not awful, but it's still average. Another go, so it grows, nuttier, warmer. It's never going to win awards and it's far from interesting but it will do as an everyday malt.Out of interest who lets these people who talk about ice and mixers publish reviews?!?!
19th February 2014
I love the flavour. Subtle enough to drink just over ice. Do not ruin with mixers. Would buy another when this one is finished, which won't be too long.
3rd January 2014
My son bought me a bottle for my 65th. Very good indeed. The trouble is my father in law has found it to his taste, so I am looking for another bottle
25th December 2013
Good whisky, stills in this distillery are not tall, that's why spirit is heavy and oily, but that's a style, this whisky is not following for the demand to a light famous malt, it's have it's own individuality. And that's a good point.
8th December 2013
Great whisky. This is a malt as it was in the beginning of the 19th century, traditionally made whisky. Taste must be so, that's the main idea of this small distillery. You won't find whisky with the same taste, and it's the proof of my words. In the blends it will give unforgettable taste.
7th December 2013
Very nice whisky with a very nice price. I taste a lot of fruit (most of it apple). The taste doesn't last long though.
10th November 2013
dont know whats happening with blends like teachers bells and grouse but this is now cheaper than these here in yorkshire for 70cl ,i find it a nice mellow whisky and unbeatable at the price
22nd October 2013
Had only the one glass while in Scotland last month. Thought it was pretty good. Though perhaps, as the publican said to me, "What can you expect from a man who doesn't like Talisker?"
5th October 2013
I mix or blend with macgavan islay
4th October 2013
Light bodied, subtle, slightly fruity with a hint of peat. At first sip I was unimpressed, but by the end of the dram I was quite happy with the palette of flavors. At about half the price of the Speyside 12, I am going back to the store to purchase the remaining 3 bottles.
6th September 2013
Tasty, smooth, inexpensive. The best option for one who has a couple of drinks at bedtime.
23rd July 2013
This is smooth and provides a drink that will satisfy without the high price tag. I have abandoned the pricey and now prefer this light and asty drink.
I have read the posted comments with absolute astonishment as this is one of the best single malts I have tasted, mellow, warm, medium deep and cheerful a real pleasure.
18th July 2013
This is probably one of the smoothest single maltsI have ever had the pleasure to sample from the Speyside area would urge anyone who is a Speyside fan to seriously rate this 12 year old
8th July 2013
Actually shit enough! For me better the blended one, than this single malt. Of course you can't compare the prices for Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban and this one, but IMHO better to pay twice and drink the real dram than that.
19th April 2013
This is a great drinking whisky for real whisky drinkers. Drink it all day.
31st March 2013
Comparing to same-price offerings in U.S., this is metallic and horrible. Would go with MacGavin's or McClellands before this $21-$23 USD).
7th February 2013
By far the best malt in the world...ignore the crap that has been posted..buy a few and lay them away! Future classic!
8th January 2013
It's ok...No Bells but it certainly made my arm puts smell good!!
I get an almost overpowering impression of mould. It's the exact opposite of the flowery and pleasing impressions I get from other fine single malts out there. This was an experiment that I could have done without. I am thinking of complaining to the importer in writing.
18th November 2012
Good for what you pay. You should not compare to something that is twice the price.
4th November 2012
Harsh, metallic, with very few redeeming qualities. I've had much more drinkable cheap blends than this.
1st October 2012
In China, only small amount of people enjoy single malt whisky. Most of them bought red label or chivas.
21st June 2012
Was given this lovely malt as a gift and found it palletable.have been a seasoned malt drinker for many years and thought this dram was quite acceptable
6th May 2012
Bought this on the cheap and it was worse than expected - horrible vegetable, metallic actone taste made my stomach turn. Might be passable mixed with coke, but totally undrinkable by itself. You can get better whisky for your money.
9th April 2012
Son bought it for my 55 th birthday what a treat ! A lovely wee dram indeed !
11th February 2012
25th November 2011
Relación precio calidad ,EXCELENTE
16th November 2011
I can't even give this one away... cant get rid of it :( just pure Evil...
30th October 2011
Love it, smooth start then evaporation leaving fruity peat and liqueur like roundness.
30th August 2011
This is the best whisky I have ever tasted!
31st July 2011
Elegant, clean finish with latent sweet finish- a very decent dram indeed.
29th July 2011
It's smooth and mellow. For the price , it can't be beat
13th February 2011
Usually drink our surrounding counties local products, Daniels & Dickel but do love Scotch. This one has hot alcohol flavor, needs age, but at $23/bottle I couldn't pass on a taste try of a couple bottles. Would hope that this distillery continues to produce and has the funding to let some of its product age properly.
11th February 2011
This is a very fine single malt for it's age... with due comparison, the Drumguish can be described as a younger sibling to the Glenfiddich 21yr old... and at a fraction of the price you really cannae complain.
5th February 2011
Purchased two bottles in Pitlochry - finished one 1/3 left in other, wish to purhase more.
4th October 2010
what a mish-mash offlavours
19th June 2010
You'd be better of burning your money than buying this and drinking it. Not strong enough to remove paint, but will destroy your tastebuds
27th February 2010
