Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Sugary-coated almonds, thick malt and hints of vanilla. Thyme honey appears a little later on.

Palate Orange peel sweetness, paired with baking spices and chocolate.

Finish A medium length finish.

Overall A lovely little Speysider, this is.

Reviews for Speyburn 1989 (bottled 2013) - Connoisseurs Choice (Gordon & MacPhail)
Need to take your time with it.
On the nose and the initial taste is very delicate but leads to a long lasting finish. It could be very easy to drink this dram as it's so smooth. I picked a bottle up for £50 and it's lovely. More than this and I'd want more bang for my buck.
