Highland 10 Year Old 2011 - South Star Spirits
From the South Star Spirits independent bottling range comes a ten year old single malt Scotch whisky from a Highland distillery – though the identity of this distillery remains unknown. WooOOOooo! We wrote a ghost noise because ghosts are a mystery to us. They're so aloof... It was drawn from ten first-fill hogsheads, and bottled in 2021 at 48% ABV, with nary a hint as to which distillery produced it.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Walnut, milk chocolate, a touch of cigar box.
Palate
Still chocolatey, with fresh citrus notes building.
Finish
Robust barley notes, dry oak spice, and a touch of anise.
