This was distilled at the Glen Scotia distillery in June of 1977 before 32 years ageing in hogshead number 1691 before bottling by Ian MacLeod for the Dun Bheagan range in 2010. A release of 210 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Blossom, fragrant wood, biscuity, coastal, salty butter. Butterscotch and honey.
Palate
Gentle smoke, maybe a hint of kippers and some sweetness. Orange zest, then chamomile and pepper.
Finish
Peppermint, sweetness, spice.
