Royal Salute 21 Year Old - World Polo Edition 2017
A 2017 release of 21 year old Royal Salute blended Scotch whisky, honouring the connection between Royal Salute itself and the sport of polo*. An elegant, aromatic expression with full-bodied fruit elements and a fragrant whiff of smoke sneaking in alongside the mature oak notes.
*The kind with horses, not the kind in water. That's water polo.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Honey-coated apricots and freshly zesty tangerines. Layers of tulip, dry grass and salted toffee underneath the fruit.
Palate
Caramel-drizzled banana, cooked pear, filo pastry and old oak furniture - the latter leading to soft peaty embers.
Finish
Drying malty notes, with a final hint of sugared dates.
