A stupendous single cask whisky from SMWS from a secret distillery (let's just say its R -Bank. No, that's too obvious, let's call it Rose-B). This is a berry-fruit-rich whisky from the now closed distillery, distilled on the 1st March 1992 and aged in a single cask for 11 years. Finished in a port pipe, there are just 211 bottles of this stuff.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Grapey with notes of red berries, winter spices, caramel and toffee apples.
Palate
Spiced and warming, hints of lavender, cinnamon and cloves, red apples, berry compote and apple strudel.
Finish
Great length with oodles of spice and complexity.
