There are floral notes, as is to be expected, but they're of the orange citrus variety here. There's a 'window thrown open (by a meadow)' freshness, lychee, grapefruit, and some faint, gentle spice and malt.
Grapefruit turkish delight with all the powder, light sponge cake, marshmallow and more delicate but flavoursome floral notes.
Drying, with some well-measured oakiness becoming prominent for the first time.
Elegant was the word on everyone's lips at the launch. A classic, slightly fruity, Rosebank.
Well balanced and good finish. Lacks the depth that one might expect for the price but not dissapointing.
Great stuff, shame it's so rare
Love the subtle flavors and the citrus. If you are looking for whiskey with very strong character/flavors however this is not for you.
Pretty boring for the price.... No complexity, too classic...
so good!
