Brilliant bourbon from Redwood Empire out in Sonoma County, California. This particular expression has been dubbed Pipe Dream, named after the 14th tallest tree on earth. It was produced with a mash bill of 75% corn, 21% rye, and 4% malted barley, meaning you're in for a wonderfully creamy whiskey backed up by flashes of toasty rye spiciness.
Nose Orange peel, honeycomb, dry oak, brown sugar, and nutmeg.
Palate Quite nutty, with almond and walnut making an appearance. Toffee popcorn, milk chocolate, and peppercorn.
Finish Maple syrup, marmalade, and cedar.
