A delightful single pot still Irish whiskey, Redbreast 12 Year Old is highly praised by a host of notable critics. Distilled at the Midleton site from malted and unmalted barley, it’s then matured in a combination of American oak bourbon barrels and Spanish oak Oloroso sherry butts. We can't get enough of this multi-award-winning whiskey.
Nutty, rich and oily. There are notes of dried peels, ginger, linseed and cut fruits including a touch of melon.
Spicy with great body. Nuts and citrus (peel and juice) with hints of marzipan, dried fruits and a hint of Sherry. You turn it over in your mouth forever.
Long and creamy with custard and spice.

This is a top notch whiskey , the wholesaler would have a five whiskey display and red brest was one of those whiskeys , it was on my top shelf and i refused to sell it to American tourists because they just pour coke in it ....it was like a train crash i just couldn't watch an do nothing
Great mouthfeel and finish…for some, the forward grain is a turn off…but for this one it is pleasantly balanced
I normally only drink bourbon, but got introduced to this by a friend as a good 'crossover' whiskey. Reminds of Christmas cake but I don't think it's particularly rich in flavour. I'd argue the finish is pretty short to. However this is a smooth drink and you can drink this all night. A really nice pour which I've had many a night with good friends.
I've been in love with this whisky for a while, the 12 is the perfect representation of an Irish whisky imo. It's my go to dessert whiskey, I would just like to see it at 43% abv
A great Irish whiskey but a tad overpriced, although seems a little cheaper on here than in shops which is good.
