A delightful single pot still Irish whiskey, Redbreast 12 Year Old is highly praised by a host of notable critics. Distilled at the Midleton site from malted and unmalted barley, it’s then matured in a combination of American oak bourbon barrels and Spanish oak Oloroso sherry butts. We can't get enough of this multi-award-winning whiskey.
Nutty, rich and oily. There are notes of dried peels, ginger, linseed and cut fruits including a touch of melon.
Spicy with great body. Nuts and citrus (peel and juice) with hints of marzipan, dried fruits and a hint of Sherry. You turn it over in your mouth forever.
Long and creamy with custard and spice.

This is a superb pot still and one of the great Irish whiskeys Great flavour and smooth, sweet without being sickly Impossible not to love it
Gorgeously smooth, lovely lasting flavour. I’m a relative novice with regards to whiskey, this is by far the best I have tasted so far.
Perfect for me, great flavor, so smooth.
To my amazement I found this wonderful whiskey at Costco in Scottsdale Arizona for $39.99. Long been my favorite either neat or maybe with one small cube, I was almost tempted to buy several bottles just in case...
If I didn't see the bottle, I would have thought that I was drinking a Balvenie 12 Double Wood, which is something I like very much. Rum-and-raisin, or Xmas cake.
