A 15 year old Islay whisky matured in first-fill Oloroso Sherry casks, bottled for the Port Askaig range! Though we don't know which of Islay's fantastic distilleries we responsible for this tasty single malt, so it's probably worth just simply yelling a "thank you" to the entire island.
Toasted rye bread with blackberry jam, dry smoke and dried earth.
Floral malt at first, followed by Sherried peels and waves of smoke.
Lingering charcoal and a touch of rock pool.
