I had this while in Wales and I LOVED it. It is the closest they have to a bourbon which I love. I think it was smooth tasting and going down. Full of flavour, it is my new sipping whiskey.

A Welsh whiskey convert
Very enjoyable, smooth, light. Since my husband and I visited the Penderyn distillery we have been hooked. Gradually becoming accustomed to the variants. We have not been disappointed yet.

Say goodbye to your sinuses.
Even for a 40% I'd reccomend adding a drop of water or it'll blow your face off. Smooth as belt-sander loo-roll. Once the diesel body has been diluted it's acceptable but I'm going for a different Welsh whisky in future.

Great drink
An amazing drink. Drunk neat I think it’s one of the best I’ve ever tried. Very smooth, a little bit of fruit as it suggests, very drinkable.

Worth having in the cupboard if you ccan get it cheap
I've certainly drank worse but it's got an edge I'm not a huge fan of compared to other less peaty whiskies. Fruity to start but with an almost petrol aftertaste that thankfully doesn't last too long.

Beautifully smooth single malt.
I was given this as a present by my brother who knew I liked a single malt. It is, in my humble opinion one of the top whiskies and certainly in my top 5. Very easy to drink and not at all harsh on the palette. Best drunk neat.

Mature lady - Easy drinking with a dash of water or ice to release the flavours. Light malt, touch of sweetness with warm after tones, feels good on the tongue. Every body tastes differently, would not recommend to those who prefer strong whisky with a lot of bite. I have ordered another.
