Penderyn Legend is a Welsh single malt whisky firstly matured in bourbon barrels and finished in ex-Madeira casks before it's bottled, imparting an intriguing touch of vibrant sweetness. It has been bottled at 41% ABV, slightly lower than the Welsh distillers' other Madeira-cask-finished single malt.

I really liked it! It was very smooth and drinkable. I added a small amount of water which bought out some more flavours. Would definitely recommend it, particularly if you can get it on offer
Excellent cost benefit (£19 at duty free) round, smooth and warm. Have had more expensive ones that were worse, but no cheaper ones that were better. Proper single malt, probably cheaper only because it's welsh
Love this , it’s sweet and doesn’t have an over powering kick of heat, not peated and almost toffee like after taste.It’s up there with the best. When this is on offer a bargain between £20-£24 but an average at full price.
Poor and low rating reviews can only be from those who haven't experienced the taste of many malts,for a welsh malt this particular one tick's all the boxes, I have never tasted anything else like it,smooth full of flavour and simply unique
I just can't believe some of the bad reviews I have read on here. I live in Scotland and I have tried many malts,so yes initially when I came across this welsh malt I expected the worst ! I was completely wrong,this malt is just so smooth and full of flavour it's unbelievable,it is by far one of the best malts i have had the pleasure of tasting from outside of Scotland.
