Introducing Penderyn Legend Floral & Fruity, a Welsh whisky that does what it says on the tin. Produced using the distillery's unique copper stills, the whisky was matured in American oak bourbon casks and then finished in Madeira wine barriques.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Orchard fruit, coffee fudge, orange peel, dried herbs, and nutmeg.

Palate Raisins, malty biscuits, stem ginger, custard, pears, and honey.

Finish Madeira cake and baking spice.

A true legend, if too tall
I tried this at a cottage in Wales and regularly offered it to guests at my home. It’s been complimented on most occasions and I think it holds up well against similar tasting whiskies globally. My only complaint is that it’s a tall bottle and has to sit on a different shelf on its own.
