Description

An indie bottling of heavily peated single malt from Paul John in Goa! This Indian whisky was distilled in 2015 and aged in a single barrel until 2021, when it was bottled up by Berry Bros. & Rudd, producing only 160 bottles. Smoky and satisfying stuff, this.

Nose

Robust peat smoke with underlying notes of banana fritter and cinnamon sticks.

Palate

Tangy citrus, roasted nuts, bonfire embers, and vanilla pod.

Finish

Scorched barley and a hint of green apple zestiness.
