'Edited' is an Indian single malt whisky created by Master Distiller Michael John using Indian 6-row barley as well as peated Scottish barley. The final vatting contains 15% of the peated spirit with maturation taking place in bourbon casks.

Not much on the nose, none of the sweetness of the Brilliance. Little going on in the mouth also; it seem the flavour has been Edited out of this one. Overall very neutral. A drop of water takes it back towards the Brilliance with some more grassy notes. but with a flat spot where the sweetness should be. A nice solid foundation with nothing built on it.
Recommend by a friend at work. I bought 3 bottles on his recommendation. 1 for myself and 2 for my Brothers in Law. My nieces partner came round on Xmas Eve who’s a lover of great whisky was surprised as I was that it was only listed at 46% but the flavour and strength is a powerful pleasure on your palette. It comes across as Cask Strength?? I did say to my friend if it’s no good he will have to issue me with a FULL refund on all 3 bottles??. I’m sure his money is pretty safe!
One of my favourites. There is lots going on. Don’t be put off by the age thing. A year in a barrel in the sub tropical heat of Goa must be equivalent to three in chilly Scotland. Whilst the speed of maturation might make for a different style it has its own complexity and sweetness. And just a hint of peat. The only ingredient not from India with a container or two shipped over each year from Scotland. The Classic cask strength is good too
Very drinkable. I get some of the oak but not much. Certainly something sweetish like honey. Very little peat, I would have liked a bit more there. Medium tingly finish. A good whiskey but I think too young to be a very good whiskey. Price for me is a little too much to justify buying another bottle but I’ll enjoy this just the same.
Loads going o in this dram. On the nose you're hit immediately with mint, really. Definitely pick out loads of flavours. Made me buy the Bold and Brilliance expressions
