This single cask North British whisky spent three decades in a refill oloroso butt, which has turned this single grain into something quietly luxurious. It was bottled by Signatory for the Cask Strength Collection at 50.4% ABV.

Nose
Polished oak furniture, walnuts, soft toffee, dried figs and leather-bound books.
Palate
Vanilla custard, cocoa powder, gentle sherry nuttiness and mellow spice.
Finish
Oak tannin, dark chocolate and a faint echo of dried fruit linger.
