Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Mellow notes of old polished oak and homemade rice pudding open the way for honeyed flapjack, cocoa, and granola, with a touch of sandalwood in tow.
Palate
Trickles of thick, soft toffee and chewy oak offer a silky, warming welcome, with sweet notes of syrupy sponge cake and orange biscuits. Vibrant, tropical fruits develop in time, with pineapple and salted papaya bringing balance to woody spices beneath.
Finish
Milky coffee and dense old oak trail off gently, with sweet caramel, burnt sugar, and a touch of candied ginger.
