It doesn't take a detective in a deerstalker hat (which they never actually wore in the books) to figure that we've got another tasty indie single grain on our hands here! This one comes from the North British distillery, and was aged for 20 years (from May 1994 to January 2015) in a bourbon barrel. This was bottled by Deerstalker with an outturn of 247 bottles.
Porridge with loads of honey and dried fruit thrown on top. A whiff of floral sweetness wafts through.
Drying baking spices followed by apricot, yellow plum and buttery pastry.
Sawdust, pecan, toffee and a touch of roasted coffee bean.
