Distilled at North British in May 2009, this single grain Scotch spent 15 years maturing in a single cask. The cask was cracked open by indie bottler Duncan Taylor in February 2025, releasing 180 bottles for its Rare Auld collection.

I was lucky and quick to buy 2 bottles of this whisky. Nose is soft and creamy, with notes of vanilla, toffee, and a hint of old oak. On the palate, it’s smooth with buttery caramel, gentle spice, and dried fruits. The finish is long and warming. Cheers)
